my view is there are two ways to attack a political theme in a song. really metaphorically (which works, rarely) and really directly, which is what you do. the lyrics actually say what the song is about. amazing. and i find the lyrical content funny. the music sounds like a lounge piece, ya know? pretty light and smooth, and then, oh wait, this song is about how screwed up the music industry is. there's a great contrast between the light pop of the music and lyrics.
